Services

What we do at the yard

Aluminium structural work is our specialty. We take all hull types for mechanical, electrical and fit-out work. We don't currently take on steel hull repairs.

Haul-out & antifoulingLift-out by mobile crane for boats up to about 24 m, hull cleaning, antifouling and anodes.
Aluminium structural repairRepairs, modifications and extensions to aluminium hulls and superstructures by our specialist welders.
GRP repairFibreglass hull and deck repairs.
Repowers & conversionsEngine replacements and conversions, including inboard-to-outboard pod conversions.
Electrical & solarBattery, charging and shore-power systems, inverters and marine solar installations.
Electronics & radioNavigation electronics and radio installations, including customer-supplied equipment.
Fleet maintenance contractsPlanned maintenance for fleet operators, keeping workboats and response vessels available.
Fit-out & upgradesInterior works, deck equipment and system upgrades on existing boats.
The yard

Built for refit work

Our new waterfront yard next to the Umm Al Quwain fish market has a 90 m by 40 m covered shed with 13 m clear height, so work carries on under cover whatever the weather.

Inside are dedicated bays for fibreglass work, painting and interior fit-out, so each trade has its own space and boats move through without waiting on each other.

Boats come out of the water by mobile crane, comfortably up to about 24 m. For larger vessels we can work afloat alongside.
